Aripathiri, for instance, is a Malabari rice roti that is often served with their mouth-watering mutton curries and is extremely popular in the Muslim community of the region. Simple and soft rice bread, Aripathiri is typically made during the fasting season of Ramadan but is loved across occasions and dinner parties as light and comforting flatbread to pair with spicy Malabar curries. Also known as Pathil, it has many variations such as Erachi pathiri or Chatti pathiri that is stuffed with mutton. Ari pathiri is a paper-thin bread on which you won't be able to stop at just one!

How To Make Aripathiri | Aripathiri Recipe
This super-thin south Indian flatbread form Kerala needs just a handful of ingredients. All you need is some cooked rice which is grounded and combined with rice flour, salt, ghee, coconut milk and water to make a smooth dough. Make sure to mix the rice flour well until it reaches a smooth consistency. Try to use warm water to make dough with rice flour and stir continuously. The dough is then rolled into thin rotis and cooked over a hot griddle (tawa). That's all! Quick, easy, fuss-free and absolutely yummy!
