BARTONVILLE (WEEK) -- The 13th annual Bikers for Ta Tas: Ridin' To Make a Difference started in Bartonville wrapping around Central Illinois to support their charity event for breast cancer.

The organization, co-founded by Nancy Borum, was inspired by her sister and mother, both breast cancer survivors.

"I had a lot of support when I had cancer, but seeing all this every year," said Betsy Fannin as she held back tears.

Fannin is coming up on her 10 year anniversary as a breast cancer survivor.

The organization's goal is to take the burden off those who can't afford a yearly mammogram or those that may need help when going through treatment.

"Those costs are really high so we want to help with any of that and then anyone that's been tested positive and has cancer we'd like to pay for their prosthesis and any comfort item they may need," said Borum.

Since their start 13 years ago, they have raised over $325,000.

"To see it grow from...15 people to, we've had upwards of 2,000. It's amazing," said Borum.

The money raised this year will be donated to Unity Point Health and the Illinois Cancer Cure Foundation.
