Daniella Hemsley’s viral breast-flashing moment after her win against Aleksandra Danielka has the boxing world divided.
The English fighter — who is also an OnlyFans model and influencer — faced scrutiny for flashing her breasts after she secured her first-ever win, via unanimous decision, at the Kingpyn Boxing event in 3A Arena in Dublin, Ireland, on Saturday night.
Australian world champion Ebanie Bridges spoke out in defense of Hemsley, 22, in a series of tweets, explaining her take on the racy celebration.
“I think tonight all y’all that complain / about me & say I ‘show my t–s’ saw what ‘showing your t–s’ actually looks like… something I’d never do,” wrote Bridges, who is known for wearing lingerie at weigh-ins.
“There is weighing in in Underwear like everyone else… but having big boobs…. And then there’s actually showing ur t–s on TV.
“I get why she’s done it… she’s an ‘influencer’ it’s all about views & she knows it would break the internet, get views & everyone would be talking about it. So she has succeeded in that… it’s influencer boxing their goal is to break the internet.
“But now please stop saying I show my t–s LOL cos I [f–king] don’t. And I don’t need to to break the internet I do that clothed.”
In a separate post, Bridges — also known as the “Blonde Bomber — explained that Hemsley’s topless celebration was a result of “influencer boxing,” writing in part how it will result in “more money” for the internet personality.
“Ps – she had great boobs tbf hahaha & anyone who is going on about how it’s bad for women’s boxing – firstly it’s influencer boxing & secondly, it’s really not going to effect it, let’s be real,” Bridges wrote. “All it’s gonna do is get that influencer more exposure, more followers & more money.”
After the sultry celebration, Hemsley apologized in her post-fight interview and said her emotions got the best of her.
As for boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, he didn’t exactly mince words on Hemsley’s actions.
“I hate it, we’ve worked so hard for women in boxing to be respected for their ability, for their merits, for their hard work,” Hearn told Boxing Social.
“One thing we must understand is that ain’t boxing.”
Boxing superstar Claressa Shields — a two-time gold medalist who has held world championships in three weight classes — also expressed disappointment on Twitter.
“Wow….. this is a step backwards for women’s boxing. Stop this s–t,” she wrote.
Hemsley explained that she didn’t intend to flash her entire breasts.
“I also apologies to anyone who may have felt offended by my excitement, I did actually have tassels on but the sweat stuck them to my bra lol,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
“I got approval from the promoter,” Hemsley claimed in an interview after the fight.
DAZN, which broadcasted the event, did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
No fines were given out as a result of the incident.
