Australian boxer Ebanie Bridges has defended Daniella Hemsley over her flashing stunt last weekend.
Hemsley defeated Ms. Danielka by unanimous decision in an influencer boxing contest last weekend, and after the decision was read, the OnlyFans star flashed her breasts to the camera, and indeed the crowd in attendance.
The 22-year-old has been slammed by many for the stunt, with boxing promoterEddie Hearn - and others - claiming it was a step back for women's boxing.
But Bridges, who is a professional boxer with a record of 9 and 1, has defended Hemsley, making it clear that there is a dividing line between professional boxing and influencer boxing.
Bridges defends Hemsley
She tweeted: "I think tonight all y'all that complain about me & say I 'show my t**s' saw what 'showing your t**s' actually looks like... something I'd never do.
"There is weighing in in Underwear like everyone else... but having big boobs.... And then there's actually showing ur t**s on TV.
"I get why she's done it... she's an 'influencer' it's all about views & she knows it would break the internet, get views & everyone would be talking about it. So she has succeeded in that.. It's influencer boxing and their goal is to break the internet.
"But now please stop saying I show my t**s LOL cos i f***en dont. And I don't need to to break the internet. I do that clothed.
"Ps - she had great boobs tbf (to be fair) hahaha and anyone who is going on about how it's bad for women's boxing - firstly it's influencer boxing & secondly, it's really not going to affect it, let's be real.
"All it's gonna do is get that influencer more exposure, more followers & more money."
After the incident, Hemsley actually apologized for the stunt, claiming her nipples were supposed to be covered ahead of lifting up her top.
She tweeted: "I DID IT! Ola definitely didn't have a walk in the park (her words) but Big respect, that was true WAR!
"I also apologies [sic] to anyone who may have felt offended by my excitement, I did actually have tassels on but the sweat stuck them to my bra lol."
