Señorita bread, doughnuts, and malasadas head to the southeast at Starbread Bakery - Eater Vegas

adaapablogsi.blogspot.com

Underneath a metal, triangle-shaped arch, California’s Starbread Bakery is close to launching its first Nevada expansion, importing its cravable señorita bread, malasadas, and Filipino specialties to the southeast.

Signage is already up at the Eastwind Center, with the bakery taking over two vacant suites to fill a roomy 2,400 square feet, located a short distance from IDK Craft Pizza & Kitchen and Tres Amigos Mexican Grill and close to the intersection of Windmill Lane and Eastern Avenue.

Serving its rolls in batches of five, or as many as a box filled with 65, the sweet señorita bread is prepared with butter, brown sugar, and breadcrumbs, creating a caramel note from the fusion of ingredients.

Yet to reveal an estimated opening date, or the new Las Vegas menu, Starbread operates seven locations including outposts in Sacramento and San Francisco, and serves a lengthy roster of treats, featuring cream cheese and ube bitso-bitso pastries, plus Bavarian, cinnamon sugar, and dulce de leche malalsadas; a full range of doughnuts; cheese pimento buns; and lumpia.
