The long-awaited Panera Bread in Wilkes-Barre Twp. Commons finally reopened Wednesday nearly three years after a tornado destroyed the popular restaurant and other businesses in the strip mall. The new stand-alone Panera Bread opened for indoor dining and cars lined up in its drive-thru. Panera Bread is known for its bakery items, sandwiches, salads and soups. It is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
