MARION COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF)- The Marion County airport has offered proceeds from skydivers to the Jumps for Lumps benefit during the month of October.
The proceeds directly benefits CHI Memorial’s Maryellen Locher Breast Center.
During the last day of the campaign, Julie Bomar volunteered to participated to sky dive on Halloween.
Breast cancer has impacted several women in Julie’s family.
Julie said she’s proud to scratch sky diving off her bucket list in support of her family and breast cancer awareness.
“One year after I was diagnosed, my mother was diagnosed and then a year after my mother, my sister was diagnosed” said Julie Bomar. “So, because of that straight succession, it puts my daughter at at very very high risks. So I jump for her.”
Saturday was the last day for Jumps for Lumps proceeds but you can still donate to the Mary Ellen Locher Breast Center directly.
