The Genesee Country Village & Museum is holding an on-site class entitled, “Bread Baking for Two” on Tuesday, August 25, from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Are you ready to get out of your house and do something non-virtual? Grab a friend or family member and join instructor Peggy Roll for an adventure in bread making. Paired participants will work together in our modern facility, selecting from an assortment of flours or grains to make a basic bread recipe and then choose from a variety of ingredients to add into the mix.
Will you use brown sugar, honey, maple syrup or molasses to sweeten the bread? Add in some raisins or maybe some nuts and seeds? The options are numerous as you learn how different ingredients work and make choices along the way. Bring a lunch to eat while your two loaves rise and bake.
