As kids, many of us would work hard to get a “star” on our schoolwork (well perhaps that reflects my age, but I believe in some manner we all can understand and relate). I believe that Bread deserves a star for their care for the community during this unusual time.
The group at Bread have continued to bake their bread and goodies all the way through and while doing what they do best, they have shown that they care about assisting with stopping the spread of COVID-19. They started immediately with social distancing (one customer at a time in the store), they encouraged calling in your order, and if you don’t have a mask (a mask and gloves worn by all) they would gladly walk out to your car with your order, and have continued to keep a smile in their voices as they work (mask blocks the smile on their faces).
There are many people who deserve “stars” on their work, but this time Bread stands out with me.
