Syracuse, N.Y. -- A $16 million transformation of a former industrial bakery on Syracuse’s Eastside into apartments and commercial space is getting nearly $730,000 in tax breaks.
The Syracuse Industrial Development Agency recently approved a mortgage tax exemption valued at $63,000 and a sales tax abatement valued at $666,880 for the project at the former Syracuse Bread Co. building at 200 Maple St. in Syracuse.
