A breast imaging navigator is a registered nurse who is specially trained and knowledgeable in coordinating the clinical care and education of a patient who is diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast imaging navigators are excellent resources for helping keep you and your family informed and educated throughout your treatment process.
Should you receive a diagnosis of breast cancer at the Breast Health Center, our breast imaging navigator is there to provide you with personal guidance and help you navigate through the complex system of cancer care, every step of the way.
This includes scheduling follow-up appointments and treatment, helping you navigate your medications and insurance, keeping you informed, and providing and supportive needs you may face as your journey progresses.
