Centralia Police Department

Hit-and-Run

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 400 block of South Tower Avenue at about 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 14. No arrests were made and the case is under investigation.

• A semi truck reportedly struck a row of mailboxes in the 1600 block of Kresky Avenue at about 4:20 p.m. on Aug. 13. No arrests were made and the case is currently under investigation.

 

Vehicle Collision

• A two-vehicle collision was reported at the corner of Harrison Avenue and Ives Road at about 5:40 p.m. on Aug. 14. No arrests were made.

 

Harassment

• Cameron Madrigal, 24, of Centralia, was arrested in the 100 block of Shirlee Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged felony harassment.

 

Assault

• Eduar Alverto Lopez, 27, of Centralia, was arrested on Sunrise Lane at about 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 and booked into Lewis County Jail on two counts of third-degree assault.

 

Theft

• An unidentified female reportedly stole a shopping cart full of merchandise from a local store in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 15.

• Lucia A. Romero, 43, of Seattle, was arrested for allegedly taking about $220 of merchandise from a local business located in the 1400 block of Lum Road at about 4:45 p.m. on Aug. 15.

 

Unlawful Firearm Discharge

• Cristipher Gaudreau, 28, of Centralia, was arrested in the 800 block of South Gold Street at about 2:40 a.m. on Aug. 15 and booked into Lewis County Jail for unlawful discharge of a firearm.

 

No-Contact Order Violation

• Kevin G. Blosser, 40, of Centralia, was arrested in the 1400 block of West Main Street at about 5:40 p.m. on Aug. 13 and booked into Lewis County Jail for violating a no-contact order.

 

Rape

• Jesse Bailey, 32, of Centralia, was arrested in the 200 block of West Oakview Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 for allegedly raping another person. He faces charges of second-degree rape.

 

Chehalis Police Department

Assaults

• A caller reported that her boyfriend assaulted her with a loaf of bread in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 4 p.m. on Aug. 13. She declined medical and no arrests were made in this case.

• An employee reportedly showed up to work with a bloody nose in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue at about 11:20 p.m. on Aug. 13 and reported that her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her. No arrests were made in this case.

• Second-degree assault was reported in the 300 block of Southeast Summit Road at about 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 15.

Hit-and-Run

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 300 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue at about 7 p.m. on Aug. 11.

• A truck was believed to have collided with a residential trailer in the 2200 block of Jackson Highway at about 3:50 p.m. on Aug. 14.

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 8 p.m. on Aug. 14.

 

Boy Points Knife at Others

• An 11-year-old child was reportedly playing with a knife and pointing it at other kids in the 200 block of Southwest 13th Street at about 9:40 p.m. on Aug. 13. No injuries were reported.

 

Criminal Trespassing

• A trespasser was reported in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue at about midnight on Aug. 14.

 

Suspicious Circumstances

• An unidentified male, likely in his mid-20s, was reportedly seen removing cones located in the 300 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue and moving them into the roadway at about 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 14. He went into a nearby house. No arrests were made.

 

Beer Thrown at Vehicle

• An unidentified man was seen throwing beer cans at a vehicle on the 400 block of Southeast Washington Avenue at about 3:40 a.m. on Aug. 14. He’s believed to have been intoxicated, according to callers. No arrests were made.

Malicious Mischief

• A gallon of motor oil was reportedly poured over the vehicle of a caller in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. No arrests were made.

 

Theft

• Third-degree theft was reported in the 400 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue at about 7:10 p.m. on Aug. 14. This case is still active.

 

Vehicle Prowl

• Items were reported missing from a vehicle located in the 10 block of Southwest McFadden Avenue at about 10 a.m. on Aug. 15.

 

Vehicle Collision

• A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported at the corner of Northwest Front Street and Northwest West Street at about 11:10 a.m. on Aug. 15.

 

Suspicious Person

• A suspicious person was seen peering into cars in the 100 block of Southwest McFadden Avenue at about 5:45 a.m. on Aug. 16.

 

Lewis County Jail Statistics

As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 143 inmates, including 126 in the general population and 17 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 102 were reported male and 24 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
