Restaurants in Japan offer some of the best all-you-can-eat deals for pretty much any kind of cuisine, but breakfast has been sadly underrepresented – until now. Popular bakery chain Heart Bread Antique now has a buffet-style breakfast costing only ¥858 per person (¥418 for children between three and twelve years old). You can feast on roughly a dozen different kinds of baked goods at selected cafés nationwide.
The selection of bread offered for the buffet can change depending on the day, but you can expect some of the bakery's best-selling products like sausage rolls, shio pan (salt bread) and French toast, plus freshly baked croissants and focaccia. To top it off, the deal also comes with unlimited drinks.
Heart Bread Antique started out as a single bakery in Aichi prefecture, but has branched out across the country thanks to popular creations like its signature Magical Chocolate Ring, a ring-shaped loaf made from danish pastry with chocolate and roasted walnuts woven into it. Plus, the company is behind the adorable cat-shaped shokupan store Neko Neko.
Before you rush off to get your fill of baked goodies, note that the buffet deal is only available at four Heart Bread Antique shops in Tokyo: Machida, Aeon Mall Musashimura, Aeon Mall Hinode and Iias Takao.
